4th July Fireworks over the Willamette River near Downtown Portland (OK… technically two don’t actually have fireworks but I liked them anyway).

These Night Photos taken with my Canon 5D (original – “old faithful”) with a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L lens and my newer Canon 60D using a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens and Manfrotto tripod.

The 5D is a full frame sensor so I used it to get the widest views with the 16-35mm and used the 24-70mm on the Canon 60D for closer fireworks shots. I used the Self Timer Method rather than a remote as explained in my “Night Photos” Video of my EasyDSLR course.

You can view my “Night Photos” video for free at udemy.com in my EasyDSLR Digital Photography Course: Advanced.

p.s. you need to sign up to see the free video but it’s no obligation at all – the content will definitely be worth filling in your email address.
